On Saturday, June 7, the club has been invited to tour TreeHuggers in rural Maxwell, Iowa, a tree service that also provides sawmilling, slab flattening, log pickup and delivery, and other services. The address is 31533 640 Ave., Maxwell, IA. The demo will start at 11 a.m., with lunch and learning from 11:45 to 12:00. Please sign up here to help us provide a head count to TreeHuggers for lunch.

On the day of the tour, please use the driveway on the north side of the house that takes you to the Big Red Shop, which is where parking will be. The driveway and lot are gravel, so wear comfortable shoes and casual clothing. TreeHuggers will provide a simple Iowa afternoon lunch with burgers, beans, chips, and drinks. We will eat inside the shop unless the sun is shining, and it's nice enough to sit outside.

Please bring a lawn chair and ear protection, as the mill is loud.
